🏥 Background: The Sahlenburg Sea Hospital
Originally, the site was part of the Helios Sea Hospital, which specialized in medical care and rehabilitation.
The Nordheim Foundation played a central role in the care and support of patients.
After its closure, the site fell into increasing disrepair and became a popular destination for urban explorers, photographers, and the curious.
