Bjergvandring

"Almkäserei" is written on the signposts in the valley and along the ascent path. Signs with the words "Milk", "Butter", "Cheese" on the wall of the alpine hut confirm the facts. Hikers can get all this on the Geitauer Alm. It is one of the few Upper Bavarian alpine pastures that still produces the cheese on the alpine pasture and gives it to hikers as a classic Jausenalm. The alpine pasture is open from mid-June to the end of September. The wonderful view of the Wendelstein area and also up to the Aiplspitz is free.

... the Geitauer Alm - "Almkäserei" - is located at an altitude of 1330 m - the catering for visitors mainly includes their own dairy products, but also bacon bread and various drinks - various types of cheese are also available to take away - mountain bikers rarely find them here up, as the approach is consistently steep to very steep - good if you own an E-MTB ;-) ...
