The little house is called a bark or root or witch's house. According to the latest research on the building, it was only created in 1817 and is therefore 30 years younger than previously assumed. It is therefore also questionable whether Prince Franz (died in 1817 at the age of 77) really used this house to dress and undress after swimming in the lake.
According to the findings of the cultural foundation, due to the enthusiasm for the South Sea, which had become fashionable at the time, it was more like an othahitian bathing house (so-called original hut).
