Vandring
Near the malt house and St. John's Church is this row of houses that was home to arts and crafts for centuries. The artisans of Unikat e.V. have taken up this old tradition and offer handicrafts to participate in and imitate in the demonstration workshops. The Weberhäuser are the oldest houses in the city of Plauen and date back to 1524.

It's always nice to go to the Weber houses. These were renovated again with a lot of love and enthusiasm. Volunteers look after the whole area, and children can learn pottery, felting and painting in workshops there.

In the wild and romantic city quarter on the Elsteraue there are five workshops and a museum house in the tiny buildings of the weavers' houses, the oldest rows of houses in the city. In addition, a dreamlike garden behind the Mühlgraben, a sensory garden, library and fabric store as well as the craftsmen's yards in the former Hempel stables open up on the area of the association.
