If you are in the vicinity, or visit the beaches of Sidari, worth a short detour to the canal. Legend has it that two people swimming together across the Channel will love each other forever. Often you can also see cliff diving here.

Vandring

The actual Canal d’amour no longer exists, the sea swallowed it up years ago. A replacement has been found here. If a girl jumps in and thinks of her dream man, she can marry him at some point. So much for superstition. I mostly only saw young men jumping in.
The canal consists of yellow sandstone rocks, which give a nice contrast to the blue and turquoise sea.
