Aušros vartai is a building in Vilnius, on Aušros Varta Street, one of the most important historical, cultural and religious monuments in Vilnius, an object of secular and religious tourism, a historical and architectural monument. This is the only surviving gate of the defensive wall of Vilnius. The Dawn Gate St. is located in the Dawn Gate. Vandring

One of the symbols of the city of Vilnius, the “Gate of Dawn” (Aušros Vartai), was first mentioned in documents in 1514. The loopholes on the outside of the gate, which are still well preserved today, are a reminder of the original protective function of this structure.
