First mentioned in 1225 - the "new" church was built in 1778 - in 1962 the church was closed due to construction deficiencies and in 1969 it was demolished. 1978 Start of new construction and 1982 inauguration of the present church. It is probably the smallest church in Germany with 33 seats on 14 square meters in which there are regular services.

Simple plaster building with an area of 14sqm. At this point there were several previous churches. From 1973 a new church was built according to plans by the Potsdam architect Albert Gimsa, which was continued from 1978 and was completed in 1982. Smallest church in Havelland (supposedly also Germany according to the attached plaque), which is still in operation
