Vandring
Built around 1563 by brothers Andrea and Gio. Batta, members of the Spinola family of the Vergagni branch, the family's third palace on Strada Nuova passed to the Doria family, the current owners, in 1723.
The imposing cubic volume overlooks the street, while the spatial organization of the ground floor is based on an optical telescope, which provides direct visual communication between the garden and the atrium, passing through the courtyard, from which it is separated by a colonnaded diaphragm that runs all the way around.
