The largest floodplain of the floodplain protection park on the Rhine is extremely diverse. The 35 hectares of Auenland are characterized by dry and wet meadows, strips of wood, standing and flowing water. The area thus offers an important habitat for many specialized animal and plant species.

Unique nature reserve small but there is much to see and discover. Especially the swallows nest in which dozens of swallows pairs raise their brood at the same time.
