Quattro Canti (Piazza Vigliena). Although small in size, one of the most famous or perhaps the most famous square in Palermo. At the heart of the square's construction is the number 4, which is a powerful symbol in culture and religion. It is situated at the intersection of four historical districts of the city, to which are assigned four baroque palaces delineating the four directions of the world, four geographic directions. On the facade of the palaces there are four sculptures personifying the four seasons, the four Spanish kings of Sicily and the four patron saints of Palermo.

If you want to run, you have to get up and leave the house early in the morning, before the sun starts to peek over the horizon. As the hours go by, the square will become more and more populated, until the moment comes when the crowds of visitors and residents will not only make it impossible to run, but also seriously impede walking in this place.
