    Bjergvandring

    The rock chapel is located in the Gschlößtal between the two alpine settlements of Außergschlöß and Innergschlöß. The small chapel was built in 1688 by the pastoralists of the valley and is a listed building.

    The small chapel is carved directly into the rock. Impressive, considering what possibilities existed at the time. Very nice highlight on the wayside!

    If you come on foot from the Matreier Tauerhaus, you can visit the rock chapel in front of the Venedigerhaus. The chapel has a large historical background.
