18.05.2019 - Beautifully located church, quiet neighborhood, quiet from the noise of the world is the perfect choice - you may or may not believe in faith, but the Hohe Wand is not quite safe, maybe on a short visit to the St. John the Baptist church not hurt.

The Roman Catholic parish church Maiersdorf is located in Maiersdorf in the municipality of Hohe Wand in Lower Austria. The parish church of St. John the Baptist - incorporated into the Heiligenkreuz Abbey - has been part of the Neunkirchen dean's office in the Vicariate Unter dem Wienerwald of the Archdiocese of Vienna since September 1st, 2016. Before that she was part of the dean's office in Wiener Neustadt. The former fortified church is a listed building.
