You are standing in front of the oldest private winery in Saxony. The southern exposure of the vineyards, the microclimate and the soil favor the cultivation of vines. After an eventful history, the castle and the entire complex have recently been extensively renovated.

Today, concerts, park and castle festivals, conferences and private weddings take place here. In the distillery and the vinotheque you can taste the products in a very nice atmosphere.

The start of construction of the baroque palace can be traced back to the von Schilling family, who acquired the property in 1704. The castle was later expanded and extensively renovated after 2000.
