    It is a magnificent pass, at an altitude of 2,796 meters. The landscape is very surprising, almost lunar. It is not uncommon to see ibex and marmots there!

    The view is amazing, but the Col can be difficult when there is remaining snow. Even in mid-July there can be extreme amounts of snow on the steep slopes. What it looks like on the other side can only be hoped for beforehand.
