Road bridge open 24 hours between Gailingen and Diessenhofen, border between Germany and Switzerland, vehicles up to 10 tons. It is the only completely preserved wooden bridge on the Upper Rhine and is one of the rare Pfahljoch bridges. In 1972 the building owned by the city of Diessenhofen was declared a "Protected Monument" by the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Thurgau and has been under federal protection since 1981!
