The memorial day of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael is celebrated in the Catholic Church on September 29th. St. Michael is considered the conqueror of the devil and leader of the heavenly host. Saint Michael is the patron of the Catholic Church, the patron of Germans, merchants, bakers, pharmacists, tailors, glaziers, painters, gilders and lead and tin casters, but also of poor souls, the dying and cemeteries. He is invoked as a helper for a good death and against lightning and storms.

Vandring

The first church building in the town was built in 1418.

The steeple of St. Michael's Church was built in 1601 in the Julius Echter style. The nave of the church at that time was replaced by the church's nave today in 1832.

The high altar and the pulpit were built around 1730 and come from the St. Wolfgang's Church in Wörth am Main, which was profaned in 1903 and now serves as a shipping and shipbuilding museum. The classicist side altars were created in the 18th century. Wikipedia
