The Dunas de Maspalomas are an intriguing piece of “mini-desert” by the sea, formed by ocean sand and sculpted by the wind over centuries. Protected as a reserve, they offer a unique mix of dune landscape, lagoon and palm grove, and are a refuge for birds and diverse plant and animal species. Perfect for walking, photography, nature and even camel rides — a must-see in GranCanaria.

A truly beautiful spot to observe the activity in the dunes, but primarily to watch the sunset. Occasionally, street musicians play here...which makes the spot perfect. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
