Vandring
The Goethe Pavilion is a neoclassical garden pavilion built in 1910 in Głogów's Forest Park, designed by city architect Wilhelm Wagner in the form of a rotunda with a dome and two Doric columns at the front.
The pavilion was constructed on the site of former fortress fortifications and originally housed a bust of J.W. Goethe by sculptor Rauch, though the original was lost during wartime and later replaced with a replica by Roman Mordas. The building has undergone multiple renovations, including a 2006 restoration that added a copper roof covering, which was subsequently removed due to vandalism.

The Goethe Pavilion miraculously survived the onslaught of World War II, after which it waited half a century for a thorough renovation. It has stood in the park on Daszyńskiego Street for 110 years and is one of the few surviving structures built on the former outskirts of the Głogów fortifications.
The pavilion was built in 1910 and, interestingly, it was not a municipal investment, but a private initiative. The project was funded by Luise Weistein, a resident of Głogów.
