Harry Farmer (1911-1986) was for many years the organist of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and St. Paul's United Church. Farmer was born in England and came to Edmonton in 1958. He was musical director at CFRN-TV for 15 years, and choirmaster and organist at St. Paul's United Church for 21 years. He was also the music director of the Alberta Opera Society and organist for the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. As well, Farmer launched a recreation centre for seniors. Harry Farmer Park is in the Baturyn neighbourhood and has an area of 0.73 ha.
