This park is in the Dunluce neighbourhood and has an area of 2.95 ha. The Dunluce neighbourhood is in the Warwick subdivision of the Castle Downs area. Consistent with the area's naming theme, the name is taken from a historical castle. Dunluce Castle, on the northern coast of Ireland, occupied a position of great strategic importance that was fought over for centuries. The castle remained the property of the McDonnells, "Lords of the Isles," from the 16th century until 1928 when it was transferred to the state for preservation.
