Es Pontàs is one of the great icons of Mallorca, and is located in the municipality of Santanyí. It is a natural rock arch about 25 meters high that rises in the middle of the sea. Here is one of the most difficult psicobloc routes in the world of grade 9a+.

Es Pontàs is used by climbers. In the summer of 2006, Chris Sharma first climbed a deep water solo route here, which was only repeated twice until 2018 and is considered the most difficult deep water solo route in the world.
