🏰 Burgsteinfurt Castle is one of the most important and oldest historical monuments in the Münsterland region. It is situated on an almost circular island surrounded by the Steinfurter Aa river and forms a picturesque transition between the old town and the Bagno Park.

The castle is connected to two other attractions:
The Bagno: The park to the southeast was once one of the most magnificent pleasure gardens in Europe. A stroll to the Bagno Concert Gallery is highly recommended.
The castle mill: Located directly on the access road is the historic Baroque mill, which is also a popular subject for photographs.
Tip: Visit the castle in the late afternoon when the sun is low – then the facade is reflected particularly beautifully in the waters of the Aa River. 📸✨
