The Hegereiter Bridge in Plauenscher Grund is the oldest surviving stone arch bridge in Dresden.

The sandstone bridge over the Weißeritz River was built between 1779 and 1782. A wooden bridge had probably been here since at least the 16th century. Until 1921, the road to Potschappel crossed the bridge. After years of decay and severe damage during the 2002 flood, the Hegereiter Bridge was renovated in 2006. The bridge was inaugurated on March 25, 2007, along with the Bienert Hiking Trail.
