Dam Nonnweiler
The Nonnweiler dam with a capacity of around 20 million cubic meters is a water protection area and drinking water reservoir. The dam was built in two phases from 1973 to 1975 and from 1977 to 1982. Overburden from the construction of the A1 was used for the dam. Vandring
On the almost twelve kilometers long hiking trail around the reservoir. From the parking lot, a little below there are enough shelters and benches in good condition.
