The monument to Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer is located in the Glorieta de Bécquer, within María Luisa Park in Seville. This monument was designed by sculptor Lorenzo Coullaut Valera and inaugurated in 1911.
The sculptural ensemble consists of a bust of the poet, raised on a pedestal adorned with laurel wreaths and garlands. Surrounding it are three female figures representing different states of love: love that has arrived, love that is present, and love that has been lost. There are also two bronze figures of Cupid, one shooting arrows and the other wounded.
