Wonderful view over the Ruhr area, the small plateau with the totems as a back support, if it is not too windy, a good place for a little break before you hunt down the hill again. The view through the totems to the arena and the plateau has some lunar landscape - and who can say that he was already on the moon with his bike.

The Haniel heap is the second-highest heap and offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area when the visibility is good. On the various mountain plateaus there is a summit cross and an amphitheater. The whole thing is crowned by a unique installation of colored totems. Only suitable for racing bikes who want a new one

There are several ways to climb to the top, some with steps (for hikers); there is also a WAY OF THE CROSS with all the traditional stages. For cyclists, the ascent over a longer distance of up to 11% incline and 169 meters to over 185 meters above sea level is a real challenge! The reward for the effort is a magnificent view over the entire Ruhr area from Dortmund to the Rhine and from the Münsterland to the first mountain ranges of the klkISauerland or Bergisches Land
