Vandring
John of Nepomuk, canonized in 1729, has been depicted extremely frequently since the Baroque period. After field crosses and depictions of the Virgin Mary, sculptures of Saint Nepomuk are the most common Christian stone figures found outside of church buildings in the open countryside in Catholic areas.
This one on the stone bridge to the fortified church is dated 1746.
