The "Jardín de Aclimatación" was originally created on August 17, 1788, by order of the enlightened, absolutist King Charles III of Spain, to acclimatize the exotic plants collected by his plant hunters in the Spanish colonies of the New World to the climate of the royal gardens of Madrid and Aranjuez.
The Jardín de Aclimatación is the second oldest botanical garden in Spain, after the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid, which was also established by Charles III.
A stunning garden with interesting plants - highly recommended. The €3 entrance fee is well spent!

Vandring

A beautiful hike here is definitely worthwhile; you won't regret it. This stunning park is nestled amidst beautiful nature. There's a bistro, plenty of benches, some exercise equipment, and even monuments. The views from up here are fantastic, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Santa Cruz. A visit is highly recommended! 👍🏻
