Mare Czinar's Special in the Arizona Republic lets us know "This less known AZ trail network connects some of the state's best swimming holes" and "The Wickiup Mesa Trail System in the adjacent communities of Rimrock, McGuireville and Montezuma Lake in Arizona's Verde Valley offers a hikeable link between Interstate 17 and two of central Arizona’s most popular wilderness destinations."
