The Wertachbrucker Tor is located on the edge of Augsburg's old town and used to be part of the medieval city wall as a passage. Today it's a dead end.

The Wertachbrucker Tor is one of the city gates of Augsburg and a historic monument. Many Augsburger call the gate also Schreinertor, because the Schreiner-Guild Augsburg has renovated the tower from 1996 to 1999.
Today, the gate tower can not only be visited, but also rented for events with up to 30 people. It is the guild tower of the carpenters. Many hold the Wertachbruckertor next to the Red Gate for the most beautiful entrance of the former imperial city of Augsburg.
