Rosalía de Castro Park in Lugo is a special and emblematic place. It was created at the beginning of the 20th century and remains a symbolic and magical enclave for the public. It was born as Lugo's first large park, open to all ages and social classes. Its original design, by municipal architect Ramiro Sainz Martínez, included two layouts: one in the upper part and another in the hilly area known as "Costas do Parque." Construction was completed in 1927 under the direction of architect Eloy Maquieira.
