Vandring
The entire Schwedensteig is only interrupted once by a gravel path. Otherwise it is a rustic, natural path. Steig is an appropriate name for the partially narrow path that lies on the (steep) slope.

Vandring
The Schwedensteig is a wild, narrow, exposed trail. The access is very inconspicuous and easy to miss, as there are no signs pointing to the trail. The Schwedensteig runs parallel to the hiking trail, which runs along the Püttlach stream in the valley. The Schwedensteig is considerably longer than the valley trail, as it follows the contours of the terrain, much like a meandering stream. The Schwedensteig is comparable to an alpine trail, as the path is natural and narrow, but also contains exposed sections and tricky passages. The entire Schwedensteig is probably around 3.5 kilometers long.
