Vandring
Imposing mansion in neo-Gothic style from 1898 (see facade stone) - extended in 1930 - designed by Carlos Beyaert (Izegem).
In the facade - which is currently in scaffolding - the rich use of materials is striking, such as the stained glass panels, faience tiles, wrought iron balcony.
According to the Heritage Inventory, the interior is also very richly decorated and probably served as a showcase of the architect's craftsmanship.

Vandring
Where "Aphrodite Beauty & Welness" is now, was a factory building owned by the brush factory De Volder at the end of the 19th century and was converted into a home in the 1920s by "neighbor" Jules Vercoutere (whose architect's house can be found at no. 2), commissioned by his son.
