The Roman Catholic parish and pilgrimage church of Lauffen, known as the pilgrimage church "Maria im Schatten", is located on the right bank of the Traun at the eastern end of the village of Lauffen in the town of Bad Ischl in the district of Gmunden in Upper Austria. It is dedicated to the Feast of the Assumption of Mary and belongs to the Bad Ischl pastoral area in the Bad Ischl deanery.
The current church is a hall church that was built in the middle of the 15th century.
