Vandring
Oban is a major tourist town and ferry port. It is another of our popular start points. Most routes involve a bit of road walking to start with but there are a myriad of possible routes including the option to take a ferry to Mull or Lismore.

The Oban Youth Hostel is a pretty stone Victorian villa right on the seafront promenade of Oban town, really close to the ferry port for connections to the nearby islands.
The five star VisitScotland accredited youth hostel is also very close to the centre of Oban, so you don't have to walk far to find a hearty meal and wonderful fresh seafood.
There's a range of rooms from shared accommodation to private en-suite rooms so you can stay comfortably at the Oban Youth Hostel whether you're travelling in a group or alone.
