    At the beginning or the end of a hike in the small Schorfheide worth a planned stop at the Kannenburger lock, because here there is right on the water a pub (restaurant Berlin - the operators are called as the capital), with hearty home cooking and generous portions.     There is now a high bridge with stairs (with a rail for bikes on the edge) for hikers, the pub has closed (probably permanently?) and looks in need of renovation.
