The Copernicus Tower is part of Frombork's cathedral hill and is closely linked to the life of Nicolaus Copernicus. Today it houses a small museum with exhibits about his life and research. The climb is well worth it: from the top, there is a magnificent view over the Vistula Lagoon and the historic cathedral complex. A special place where scientific and local history come alive.

Copernicus Tower, although under the care of the famous astronomer, was not his apartment, even though he bought it shortly after arriving in Frombork. For many years it was believed that this was where Copernicus' observatory was located. However, modern research has shown that the building was too small to accommodate all of the astronomer's observational instruments.
