The former Bishop's Palace was built on the site of a medieval cathedral school. After being destroyed in the 15th century wars, it was rebuilt as a bishop's house. During World War II, the building was seriously damaged and reconstruction did not begin until the 1970s. It currently houses archaeological collections, an art collection, and old prints. There is also a special exhibition dedicated to Nicolaus Copernicus.
