Although this square is beautiful, Dijon has much more to offer, including architecturally interesting things.

The 'Place Wilson' is a circular, overgrown square with a multi-jet fountain and a pavilion named after the 28th American president - in memory of the USA's entry into the war on the side of France.
At the beginning of the 19th century there was still a bastion on the site for the city's defense, but it was destroyed in 1820. The square itself has had various other names in the meantime.
