The monks' cells (and guest accommodation) cling to the rock like swallows' nests and are supported from below with sticks - adventurous and spectacular. The monastery has lunchtime rest from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the legs must be covered, but for women not by trousers but by a skirt. You can borrow these at the entrance.
Besides, I wouldn't think it's such a tragedy to be here during closing times. It's more worth seeing from the outside anyway

Vandring

Clinging to the side of the rock, this is another truly spectacular monastery in Greece. Built in the 16th century, the monastery gives an insight into Greek Orthodox tradition.

Bear in mind that it's closed for a siesta from 1 to 5pm. The heat can be especially harsh here in summer. Men and women must cover their legs (you can borrow scarves from the monastery).

The monastery Prodromou is like a swallow's nest in a magnificent location in the west of Arcadia in the Lousios gorge. One should absolutely pay attention to appropriate clothing when visiting the monastery, otherwise it can happen that one is rejected at the entrance.
