Vandring

The Hole-in-the-wall nature trail is just a 0.5 mile loop that takes you around the fascinating volcanic landscape at the base of Barber Peak. If you like, there is some scrambling involved. You can extend this hike by taking the Ring Loop Trail or the even longer Barber Peak Loop Trail. There is an information center, picnic benches and a primitive campground.

Vandring

Very cool area, exciting volcanic geology and fun climbing that is a bit challenging though. Sure-footedness, a head for heights and the appropriate experience are required, as the climbing points are only secured with rings as shown in the photo. There are also educational boards that provide information about the area and its formation and geology. The Hole-in-the-Wall area also has its own campground.
