The cable car offers the opportunity to get to the Zwölferkopf.
There you will find the Karwendelhaus with good cuisine and a lovely terrace. From here you have a great panoramic view over parts of Pertisau and the entire length of Lake Achensee.

Vandring

Pertisau am Achensee is located on the western shore of Lake Achensee, directly at the foot of the Karwendel Nature Park, Austria's largest nature park and one of the most beautiful mountain hiking areas in Europe.

Pertisau is home to a main landing stage for the Achensee shipping company, and the renowned Tiroler Steinöl® (Tiroler Shale Oil) is also produced there. It is extracted at the shale oil works in the Karwendel Mountains and then processed into excellent skincare products.

Vandring

The Karwendel cable car takes guests from the center of Pertisau to the heart of the Zwölferkopf hiking paradise. The mountain station is an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain tours and mountain bike routes. The unspoilt area is also a popular destination for paragliding.
