At the free Bunker Museum you can go back in time and discover the 69 bunkers connected by a 3.5 km long trench and study how the huge area is strategically planned.
The Bunker Museum in Hirtshals is unique because the bunkers are almost completely excavated - 54 excavated bunkers out of a total of 70 + many cannon, mortar and machine gun positions. There is an information exhibition in one bunker and you can see the bunkers up close and even go inside.
