The "Roots" in Strada Liviu Rebreanu is a modern café, bistro and restaurant that is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. (on Saturdays from 9 a.m., on Sundays from 10 a.m.). It offers a wide selection of food and drinks, has a cozy atmosphere and plenty of places to sit outside when the weather is nice. The "Roots" is run by Bogdan Berende and his wife Bianca. Berende is one of the most successful mushers, i.e. sled dog drivers, in Romania.
