The travelers build all kinds of figures out of the stones lying around. This is in the tradition of the Sami, who used to mark their routes with such cairns. There are hundreds of these cairns here - anyone looking for a way would always walk in circles. There is also a sign pointing out that it is forbidden to create these cairns.

Banned because it was overdone... Still, it's a moving moment when you see so many cairns. Incredible.
If you walk along the paths and take a closer look at these cairns, you can see that some of them have been there for a very, very long time!
