A pleasant, and at times quite adventurous, circular path runs around the Forstsee lake, always close to the shore. It can be hiked in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Several route options are available, some sections in the southern part secured with wooden bridges and railings, others more natural and untouched.
