These properties represent the remaining remains of the Capuchin monastery - the first building from the second half of the 17th century, rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 1773. Secularized in 1796 during the French period (1794 - 1814) and from 1808 Napoleonic "École secondaire". From 1863 to 2019 the town hall of the city of Eupen.

The building is no longer the town hall; it is now located behind the "old" town hall. The building pictured here now houses the Eupen Tourist Information Office.
