The stone lookout tower and chapel of St. The cross in one was built on Hostýn by Matice svatohostýnská in 1897. The round structure originally bore a lookout tower and the name of Emperor František Josef I.
During the century, the tower was removed and replaced by a viewing terrace from which you can overlook a nice part of Moravia - primarily the undulating Hostýnské vrchy on one side and the flat Hana on the other.

At an altitude of 736 m above sea level, the Hostýn lookout tower is located on the Svatý Hostýn hill. The total height is 15 m, the observation deck is located at 12 m. The lookout tower offers a view of the Haná landscape and the Hostýnské vrchy hills. The location is easily accessible on foot, by bike and by car.
