The Voyager is a striking and iconic sculpture that has become a beloved landmark along the Laytown Beach in County Meath, Ireland. Erected in 2013, this impressive steel structure stands as a testament to the area's rich maritime heritage and connection to the sea.
Designed by renowned Irish sculptor Aidan Curran, the Voyager sculpture takes the form of a stylized ship's prow, its curved lines and dynamic shape evoking the power and grace of the ocean. The use of weathered steel gives the sculpture a rugged, elemental quality that complements its coastal setting.
