Behind the 'Ranger Station' of Acadia National Park, the 'Duck Harbor Trail' leads up and down through a spruce-fir forest with isolated deciduous trees. The trail crosses wetlands on wooden boardwalks and walkways and goes along the rocky west coast to 'Eben's Head' at the entrance to the bay 'Duck Harbor' opposite the southern boat landing and the campground.
